Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lounge Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a our staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your ability to engage with customers and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. - Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. - Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste properly. - Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. - Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during beverage preparation and service. - Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. - Stay updated on drink recipes, menu changes, and industry trends to enhance guest experiences. Experience - Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. - Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. - Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is an asset. - Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
