Summary

This position is responsible for the safe operation of a truck to deliver products to customers. Deliveries are in Québec, Maritimes and Ontario.

Main Responsibilities

Loads and unloads truck with products adhering to all company and governmental regulations.
Operates semi-truck with one or two trailers according to company policies and federal laws.
Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established company procedures
Maintains vehicle cleanliness.
Performs safety inspections on truck and equipment as required by company policy.
Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires, etc.
Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to dispatcher.
Follows all safety procedures for transportation of dangerous goods(if applicable).
Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per policies.

Skills & Requirements

Valid Class 1E Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
