Job Overview
As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with the Lead Interior Designer and the design team to develop comprehensive design packages, create mood boards, and build 3D visualizations. You will be responsible for managing client documentation, supporting project presentations, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, project managers, and trades.

Requirements:

Interior Design Diploma, Degree from an NKBA or CIDA accredited program or related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution
3-5 years experience in the Interior Design residential field
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up
Experience in Chief Architect is an asset
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Familiarity with Builder Trend, Programma, Canva and Dropbox is an asset
Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings

Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Lead Interior Designer
Collaborate with the Design Team to develop and deliver comprehensive design packages tailored to client vision and budget
Create and maintain client look book documentation to guide project direction and selections
Develop mood boards and conceptual design presentations in coordination with the Design Team
Build 3D models and visualizations based on approved mood boards
Support the concept phase by attending design meetings, and collecting material samples
Prepare design packages for the Design Technologist, including material selections and specifications
Assist in coordinating interior selections for in-house clients alongside the Lead Designer
Lead or support client-facing design presentations as needed
Communicate design details with Project Managers and trades to ensure accurate implementation
Ability to work with a budget for selections purpose. Create Change Orders as required to get clients approvals
Document and distribute all selections, including issuing Purchase Orders and sending confirmed selections to site teams and trades
Assist the Marketing Coordinator with content development and social media initiatives to showcase design work and company brand.
