Job Description:

We have an opening for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, the position is primarily responsible for full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable for our group of companies. You will be an excellent team player and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Invoicing in accordance with company policies
Posting Cash Receipts
Processing Customer Credit Applications
Credit and Collection Calls
Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
Verifying and posting vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
Processing payment runs
Reconciling customer and vendor accounts, responding to inquiries, investigate discrepancies
Reception Coverage
Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance & Administration

Required Skills and Experience:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline, pursuing a CPA designation
Must have 2+ years of recent related accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Proficient MS Office Skills (Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

Other Information:

This role is Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, onsite in our Langley office
