Management

1. Operations Management

Assist in managing day-to-day store operations

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Open and/or close the restaurant as scheduled

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering supplies

2. Team Leadership

Supervise team members during shifts

Assist in hiring, training, and coaching staff

Ensure proper staff scheduling and coverage

Address and resolve staff issues or conflicts professionally

3. Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints or concerns

Ensure staff follows Tim Hortons customer service standards

Lead by example during busy periods

4. Sales & Financial Accountability

Assist with achieving sales targets and cost control

Handle cash and balance drawers as required

Monitor labor costs and reduce waste to meet budget goals

5. Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure employees follow health and safety regulations

Conduct regular cleanliness and maintenance checks

Complete and maintain necessary logs or reports

6. Reporting & Communication

Report to the Store Manager or General Manager

Communicate daily operations updates to team and management

Help implement new initiatives or procedures from corporate

Education/Experience Requirements

Must possess the ability to work well with a team as well as the public.

Must possess skills to be able to handle a fast paced, demanding food service environment. Must be flexible and possess the education and life skills to be trained adequately according to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Must be able to properly articulate the English language, CLB 5.

Must have previous experience in the Food and Beverage Industry in a supervisor role.

Experience at Tim Hortons is an asset but is NOT required.

No formal degree of education is required.
