Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of freight and ensuring efficient communication between various stakeholders in the supply chain. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, making it essential for maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
Analyze shipping and receiving data to optimize routes and improve service levels.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel using phone systems.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry into AS400 or SyteLine systems.
Monitor freight status and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Skills

Proficient in freight management and logistics operations.
Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes within supply chain management.
Familiarity with 3PL operations is a plus.
Knowledge of AS400 or SyteLine software for data management is desirable.
Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
