The Opportunity:

Westisle Mechanical Services is seeking a driven and customer-focused Residential Sales Representative to join our growing team at our location in Duncan, BC. In this dynamic full-time role, you will be responsible for managing Westisle's residential installation division in an estimating & sales capacity and seeking out new and creative solutions for the improvement and growth of the division.

Our capabilities include full-service heating, cooling, and refrigeration services, including equipment sales, design & installation, as well as a strong focus on preventative maintenance & 24-hour service. Westisle is supported by its sister company, Foster Heating & Cooling, based in Victoria, BC. Together, we are the largest HVAC specialist on Vancouver Island.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-home HVAC estimates, and provide recommendations for products and services that meet customer needs
Creating and sending quotes / pricing to interested customers
Analyze floor plans and work with contractors / subtrades to create tailored recommendations for new build construction
Conduct follow up calls with customers on a regular basis to maximize conversion rates and to ensure 100% satisfaction; generate a referral base
Coordinating the procurement of equipment from our suppliers and use of sub-contractors where applicable (electrical & sheet metal)
Achieving monthly and annual sales KPI's (quotes, sales & closing rates)
Overseeing the execution of sold jobs by our technicians - answering questions about the job and ensuring all relevant information is provided
Help management in setting & achieving sales goals & targets
Participating in weekly KPI / scorecard team meetings
Assess current sales processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement / growth and helping implement them
Coordinate home shows (booking, set up, staffing)

Experience & Requirements:

Commission-based sales experience considered an asset (HVAC / Home Services experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems (mini-split units, ducted & ductless heat pumps, furnaces, AC's) preferred but not necessarily required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
Class 5 license with a clean driving record
Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English

Work Location: in-person at Westisle's Duncan location; ability for remote work
Pay Type: Base Salary + Commission
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: as soon as possible
Work Authorization: must be legally able to work in Canada.
Background check: a clear Criminal Background check is required to start.
