Nationwide is a full service Restoration Company. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of various restoration projects that are caused by fire, smoke, wind, water, mold and asbestos. The Project Manager works in conjunction with the Property Owner, Property Manager and Adjuster/ Insurance Company. Project Managers ensure that the projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget and by bringing the properties to their pre-loss condition. Company Vehicle, Cell Phone and Laptop provided.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform site inspections, including the emergency phase.
Communicate with home/business owners, insurance adjusters and sub-contractors.
Manage sub-contractors and employees in successfully completing projects in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the preparation of accurate quotations through job costing and estimates.
Ensure project documents are complete, current and uploaded in system appropriately.
Build existing client relationships and generate new leads with adjusters and insurance companies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the industry.
Determine the extent of losses on new projects; Produce accurate estimates of work to be completed including pricing, budgets, profit margins, specifications, reports and invoicing.
Coordinate and oversee the work of sub trades in conjunction with the construction manager.
Manage project budget/estimate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years experience in the restoration industry in project management.
Knowledge of building construction, materials, methods and codes.
Experience with Xactimate, and XactAnalysis is a must.
Skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
Water Remediation Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), Odor Control Technician (OCT) certifications, (AMRT), Applied Microbial Remediation and Asbestos Worker Certification would be considered an asset.
Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages.
Proficiency in MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Basic accounting competency with an understanding of invoicing, billing procedure.
Analytical, detail oriented, hands on, and a team player.
Customer service orientation with the ability to deal with customers in dynamic situations.
Skilled at management of multiple projects, opportunity analysis and decision-making.
Experience in developing timelines, scheduling, budgets etc.
Proven track record of accurately estimating projects.
Ability manage and execute multiple projects at one time.
Demonstrate sound work ethics.
Flexible, adaptable and able to work effectively in a team environment.
