Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in demolition and abatement, exceptional estimating skills, and people management. You will be instrumental in both the estimating and project management processes, ensuring projects are completed correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
Project Management Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and regularly update project schedules, optimizing resource allocation.
Coordinate inventory management and rental equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely returns.
Effectively allocate and manage labour resources to meet project deadlines.
Accurately document and manage change orders, clearly communicating adjustments to clients and senior management.
Act as the primary client liaison, promptly resolving inquiries and escalating significant issues as necessary.
Provide on-site leadership as required, overseeing operations, ensuring strict safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenditures closely to maintain financial objectives.
Mentor and supervise staff, including conducting performance evaluations and supporting ongoing employee development.
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards by proactively addressing workplace hazards.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to safety standards, schedules, and budgets, promptly addressing any issues.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in construction, particularly demolition and abatement project management and estimating.
Solid understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret construction drawings and schematics.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proven capability to manage teams, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain strong client relationships.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining safe work environments.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for regular site visits.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
