Summary
As an Optician/Experienced Optometric Assistant, you will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the optical retail environment. Reporting to the Optometrist, you will utilize your core skills in retail sales and sales to enhance the customer experience. Your premium skills in medical terminology, laboratory, and optical experience will ensure accurate fittings and product knowledge. Additionally, your relevant skills in Epic and retail management will contribute to efficient operations. Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting eyewear and provide exceptional retail service.
Utilize medical terminology to explain optical prescriptions and procedures.
Conduct preliminary eye tests and maintain accurate patient records using Epic.
Manage inventory and assist in laboratory tasks related to eyewear production.
Collaborate with optometrists to ensure a seamless patient experience and follow-up care.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to optometry
Familiarity with optical products and services
Laboratory experience in an optical setting is a plus
Proficient in using Epic or similar software for patient management
Background in retail management is advantageous

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
