Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontist to join our group of dental practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional orthodontic care to patients of all ages, with a focus on creating beautiful smiles and improving oral health. This role requires expertise in orthodontic procedures, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
Perform various orthodontic procedures, including the placement of braces, aligners, and other corrective devices.
Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results.
Educate patients and their families about orthodontic care, treatment options, and oral hygiene practices.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience and high-quality care.
Stay current with advancements in orthodontics and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
Valid state dental license and board certification in orthodontics.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and orthodontics.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, as the role may involve treating younger patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Proficient in using dental office management software for efficient practice operations.
