NAX Hockey Academy is a Hockey Canada Accredited School playing in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). Our education based program is centered in the Town of Devon and partnered with the Black Gold School District. The mission of the NAX hockey program is to foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and passion both on and off the ice. Through dedicated coaching, skill development, and teamwork, we aim to empower our athletes to reach their full potential as players and individuals. Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Operations to join our team at NAX. This pivotal role will oversee our business operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency and driving growth within the hockey world. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of business operations to ensure alignment with company goals.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Help lead the accounting team and ensure the financial success of the organization through budgeting and monthly financials.
Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Help to drive business development efforts to expand market presence and foster client relationships.
Work with our legal, accounting and insurance partners when required.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with employees, sponsors, suppliers and other partners to optimize resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior leadership role within business operations or a related field.
Strong background in the financial sector.
Demonstrated success in business development and strategic planning.
Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.
