Job Summary
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee our Canadian and US manufacturing operations. Reporting to the President (Owner), you have experience in both sales and operations and will play a pivotal role in driving the company forward through its continued growth.
Responsibilities
-Collaborating with the President in setting and driving organizational vision, business strategies, goals for performance, operations strategy and growth
-Assess current business operations and implement changes
-Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
-Analyzing operations to identify methods to improve quality, efficiency, productivity, reduce costs, increase revenue and improve control measures
-Implementing best practices and standards to streamline operations and enhance productivity
-Leading organizational change initiatives, transformation projects and business process reengineering efforts
-Driving a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence throughout the organization
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
-Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA preferred
-Proven success in turning around a department, division, or plant
-Strong leader in operations and sales within corrugated, flexible packaging, or printing industry
-In depth understanding of the industry, including risk management, compliance and regulatory requirements
-Demonstrated strategic leadership, developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and profitability
-Highly effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills

-Must be located in the Lower Mainland and able to travel to the US between our facilities (candidates in Seattle area will be considered if they are able to regularly travel to our plant in the Lower Mainland and our US plants).
