PAB Contractors is hiring a hands-on, experienced Project Manager to oversee a mix of water damage restoration and residential renovation construction projects including basement rebuilds, bathrooms, and kitchens. This is not an office-only role - we're looking for someone who's worked in the field, understands the fast-paced world of restoration, and can also manage high-quality residential renovations from start to finish.

If you have experience in residential restoration, Xactimate estimating, and project execution from demo to final touches, we want to hear from you.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, clients, architects/engineers, and our subcontractors. In order to succeed, it's important to know how to implement code requirements, quality workmanship, health, and safety standards on site.

If you are organized, able to work well under pressure and have experience in this field, we'd love to have you on our team!

What You'll Primarily Be Managing:

Water Damage Restoration Projects

Emergency response, mitigation, demolition, and insurance-based rebuilds.

Residential Renovations and Remodelling

New builds and rebuilds for basements, bathrooms, and kitchens.

Responsibilities will include:
Hands-On Water Damage Restoration Experience (MUST)

You've been in the field - not just coordinating from a desk.
Able to assess, scope, and manage water damage projects from mitigation to full rebuild.
Experience in Mould Remediation is a huge bonus, but not a must.

Xactimate Proficiency (MUST)

You can sketch accurately and create complete estimates using Xactimate with confidence.
Experience working with insurance adjusters and understanding claim scopes is essential.

Residential Renovation Know-How

Direct experience managing basement, bathroom, and kitchen rebuilds.
Strong understanding of sequencing trades, timelines, and quality control in occupied homes.

IICRC Certifications (Huge Plus)

WRT, ASD, MRS, or other relevant designations would be preferred, but not a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage water damage restoration projects from mitigation to full completion.
Understanding of Mold Remediation processes and procedures
Oversee and manage crew and sub-contractors
Create detailed and accurate Xactimate estimates.
Manage trades, materials, schedules, and client communication.
Ensure code compliance, quality, and safety standards are met on-site.
Work directly with insurance reps and homeowners to ensure timely, quality project delivery.
Handle change orders, budgets, and progress documentation.
Lead multiple projects with clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

Required Experience:

5-10+ years in residential construction and restoration.
Deep understanding of the insurance restoration process.
Xactimate estimating and sketching (required).
Project management for residential renovations (basements, kitchens, bathrooms).
Experience with building codes, permits, scopes of work, and coordinating trades.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

You Are:

A hands-on problem solver who doesn't shy away from job sites.
Detail-oriented and skilled in managing both people and processes.
Able to communicate clearly with homeowners, trades, and insurance companies.
Organized, tech-savvy, and always two steps ahead on schedules and budgets.
Aligned with our core values: Integrity, Accountability, Client Care, and Continuous Growth .

If You're Ready to Lead the Right Way

And you're equipped with the restoration field experience we're asking for, apply now. Please do not apply if your experience is strictly commercial, office-based, or lacking in restoration work.
