Daily Job Duties/Responsibilities for Crew Lead:

Ensure the maintenance trailers are loaded and equipped for the day/week
Manage safety, quality and productivity of work at all sites
Communicate clearly and effectively delegate tasks
Effectively take direction and report back daily
Take notes on site for any deficiencies
Must be able to pay attention to detail on large commercial sites, and have a strong focus on managing timelines
Report to the shop in Waterdown area which is not transit accessible
Be comfortable in charge of your own crew while also ensuring that a second crew is completing their daily goals
Winter months will consist of snow removal operations with night checks on sites
Oversee operators or walks crews to ensure proper completion of their lists
We will execute any extras/enhancements that arise

Qualifications & Experience Crew Lead:

Multiple years experience in landscape maintenance (equipment, plant ID, cleanup procedures)
G drivers license
Salary/Hourly Wage based on experience, this is a $25-$33/hr

Daily Job Duties/Responsibilities for Crew Member:

Two different duties:

Regular weekly maintenance (trimming, weeding, etc.)
Requested extra maintenance work orders (planting, mulch, sodding, property repairs, etc.)

Requirements:

Must be able to start at 7 am sharp and have reliable transportation (yard location Waterdown which is not bus accessible)
Able to work 45-60 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
In good physical condition and be willing to work in all weather conditions
Complete repetitive tasks and pay attention to details
Know how to operate landscape tools and equipment (or be able to quickly pick up on these skills)
Be able to work until the end of November (opportunity available to work into the snow removal season)

Most holidays are NOT required to work. Additional weekend/night shifts are available during busy periods.
Uniforms and PPE are provided.

Hiring both experienced and non-experienced; wages will be based on extent of experience.
