Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Overhead Door Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various types of overhead doors and openers as well as other types of man door systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain commercial garage doors and openers. Including panel doors and rolling steel doors

Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on garage door systems

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations

Communicate effectively with team members and customers to explain services performed and address any concerns

Maintain accurate reports of services performed and parts used

Qualifications

Previous experience in garage door installation and repair is required

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot various garage door systems

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Valid driver's license

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
