Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or banquet settings. As a Banquet Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes for various events, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items for banquets and special events according to established recipes and standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service.
Supervise kitchen staff during events, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation for upcoming events, contributing creative ideas to enhance guest experiences.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Requirements
Red Seal in Culinary Arts
Minimum 3 years experience
Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or banquet setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership skills when supervising others.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences for guests.
