Art Is In is an artisanal bakery committed to delivering unique taste experiences through our fresh artisanal viennoiserie.

We are seeking a pastry cook to join our busy team. It's a high volume production bakery, fast paced and physically demanding.

You will report directly to the Pastry chef

Must be available to work early mornings, 4:30am start, and must be available to work weekends.

Skills, qualification & competencies

Experience working with viennoiserie, laminated doughs, and pastry techniques.

Numerical competency

Work experience

Trade qualifications in baking
2+ years' experience in baking
Are able to follow recipes, checklists, procedures, and operating instructions
Ensure consistency and quality of production
Ensure production areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard

The successful candidate has prior baking experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
