The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Laser Scan Technician/Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for laser scan data collection, post processing and modelling. You will work on the job site during the data collection phase ( 50% of the time) which requires the ability to travel within Canada and the US regularly, and with the potential for international travel occasionally.

The Laser Scan Technician will be responsible for:
LiDAR/Laser Scan data collection in Ontario, Canada, and the United States
Registering point cloud data
Creating 3D models using multiple types of software
Creating 2D CAD drawings
- managing customer relationships to create raving fans
Must haves:
Laser Scanning/LiDAR experience
Experience in Revit
Experience in AutoCAD 3D environments
Excellent Customer Service skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, including the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
Drive to learn and work independently
Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Ability to travel with reliable transportation. Class G license and valid passport
Mechanical Aptitude
Bonus points for having:
Surveying experience
Drone License
Post-Secondary diploma or bachelor's degree in BIM, engineering, architecture, or other related technical programs
