Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Administrative Associate to join our growing team. The incumbent will utilize a broad array of accounting and business skills to address the increasing complexity of the business and regulatory environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial and administrative functions. You will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, handling administrative tasks, and supporting compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles, administrative processes, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Perform payroll for approximately 40 salaried and hourly employees
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, expense reports, and bank reconciliations for multiple companies.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
ERP Implementation

Administrative Support:

Prepare correspondence, reports, procedures, and documentation.
Handle inquiries and communications on behalf of the organization.
Administer general office operations, including supplies/services procurement and vendor management.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Provide support to senior staff with special confidential projects and administrative tasks.
Perform cover-off duties as required.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
CPA Designation would be considered an asset.
5+ years of experience in an administration, accounting, or senior bookkeeping role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Plexxis, QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
Strong understanding of administrative policies and accounting principles and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
