Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Skills

Proficiency in Dental Assisting, with knowledge of orthodontics being a plus.
Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling and patient communication.
Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous.
Knowledge of dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for managing patient records.
Understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications related to dentistry is beneficial.
Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
