The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Landscape Technician with experience in softscaping.

The Landscape Technician will work alongside a team of peers and collaborate in performing their duties. Some key responsibilities include:
Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures.
Operate various equipment potentially including skid steer, loaders, power mowers, aerators, chain saws, gas and electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance and snow clearing equipment.
Sweep and blow out parking lots
Paint parking lot lines
Clear accumulated snow from residential and commercial properties as required in the winter season to ensure walkways, driveways, and parking areas are free of snow and debris.
Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.
Will support the Construction Manager with ensuring that all paperwork required to document completed work is submitted on time, contains all required details, and is accurate.

Requirements Do you match?
You have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License with driving experience of at least 3 years.
You can Provide a Driver's Abstract with no serious infractions
You have Experience driving with a trailer - fairly competent
You have the Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
You Must be reliable. Must be able to show up to work every day on time.
You have the Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
You have the Ability to work in a fast paced environment and complete work in given time.
You have good manual dexterity
You have Excellent stamina is required
You can Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
You can Work outdoors in various conditions including heat/humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
You Must have transportation to and from work.
You Must have Cell phone with data plan for mobile completion of sites

Hours
This position will be some evenings/nights and some days.

$22.00 per hour.

Working Conditions
This is a safety sensitive position.
Must wear Steel Toe Boots at all times.
Must wear applicable personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., safety glasses) when required.
Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, snow, or shine, we will be serving our customers.
