The RumRunner Restaurant is a fast-paced historic restaurant in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. We can accommodate up to 160 guests and have a great work environment with an open kitchen in the beautiful town of Coleman Alberta, in the Rocky Mountains.
We are looking for anyone able to work in a fast paced environment and looking for staff that works with attention to detail. We will be applying for a work Visa on your behalf through the FRANCOPHONES Program. FRENCH AND ENGLISH speaking candidates looking to move to Canada, Once Hired and a job offer completed with a two year contract you will be in touch with our immigration lawyer to start the process, this takes up to 2-3 months. Terms of employment, Full Time; 32-44 hours.
We will NOT be applying for an LMIA.
The Line cooks responsibilities and job descriptions are to have knowledge and experience to run the line in a fast- paced environment. Cook and prepare meals or individual dishes and foods, over see kitchen operations, maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies and equipment. Set up and oversee buffets and clean kitchen and work area. Plan menus for lunch and supper specials, determine size of food portions, estimate food costs.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant's recipes and standards, ensuring that every plate is presented beautifully and served promptly.
We will help you find accommodations and place you in contact with two home rental groups.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Assist in the inventory management of food supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
Participate in daily prep work, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces.
Follow proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
Skills
Proficiency in service en des aliments (food service) with a focus on quality preparation.
Strong understanding of Restauration (restaurant) operations and kitchen dynamics.
Experience in service (service) within a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Knowledge of Manipulation des aliments (food handling) practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork within the kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
