Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food handling and food safety practices.
Experience in food preparation within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
