Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Baker & Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to create visually stunning desserts. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive beautifully decorated cakes that meet their specifications and exceed their expectations.

Duties

Design and decorate cakes according to customer requests and baked g according to company standards.
Prepare and bake cake layers, fillings, frostings, cookies, donuts etc from scratch.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and decoration.
Package finished cakes for delivery or display in the store.
Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and special requests.
Stay updated on current trends in cake decorating techniques and styles.

Skills

Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including piping, and airbrushing.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
Experience in food preparation and handling within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills for creating visually appealing designs.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
A passion for baking and a willingness to learn new techniques in cake decorating.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
