Job Overview:
Soluna is seeking dedicated and experienced Servers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of fine dining service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable and seamless dining experience through attentive and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service by anticipating guest needs and ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely and precise delivery.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
Offer expert wine and beverage recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and orderly throughout service, addressing guest needs promptly.
Collaborate closely with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
Promote daily specials, up sell menu items, and personalize guest interactions.
Address guest concerns professionally, resolving issues effectively or escalating to management when necessary.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Server in a fine dining restaurant.
Smart Serve certification (required).
Strong knowledge of wine and beverage pairings.
Experience with the Clover POS system (preferred).
Fluent in English (required); French is an asset but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods in a high-energy setting.
