Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and storage.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry is highly valued.
