Duties

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu planning.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and maintenance.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent culinary skills with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
Ability to supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
