We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities include digging and setting Hydro/Telecommunication poles, installing pole anchors, performing underground hydro trenching, and executing other related tasks. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and precise execution of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to dig and set Hydro/Telecommunication poles and pole anchors.
Perform underground hydro trenching and similar tasks as required.
Read and interpret Ontario One Call locates thoroughly to ensure safe and accurate digging.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Maintain equipment in excellent working condition by performing routine checks and reporting any issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid AZ/DZ license with a clean driving abstract.
Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
Strong ability to read and interpret Ontario One Call locates.
Physical fitness and stamina to work 50-60 hours per week in varying conditions, year-round.
Willingness to travel for out-of-town work, if required.

This position does not offer remote work from home opportunities.
