We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to construction and excavation projects. Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and paving.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project requirements and timelines.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Safely load and unload materials using excavators and loaders.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on job sites.
Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred.
Experience in loader operation, backhoe operation, and grader operation is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
