Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our client's team in Markham, ON. The ideal candidate must have prior sales experience in a healthcare setting. This role involves building relationships with clients, travelling to different sites, negotiating contracts, and driving business development initiatives.
Duties:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with healthcare clients through outside sales efforts.
Travel throughout assigned regions to conduct door-to-door outreach and engage prospective clients in person.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
Conduct negotiations with potential clients to close deals effectively.
Manage existing accounts, ensuring client needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling.
Schedule and confirm appointments
Conduct sales calls
Provide customer service
Review candidate inventories
Process classified ads
Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
Screen job applicants
Perform data entry
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform business strategies.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle
Proven experience in healthcare services sales
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
Experience in business development and account management is highly desirable.
Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is a plus.
Excellent analysis skills to assess market trends and customer needs effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
