Position Summary

The WMS Consultant is responsible for leading the WMS implementation and actively participating in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of supply chain platform and WMS projects.

Serve as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Warehouse Management System (WMS - ACTIVE), with in-depth knowledge of inbound, outbound functions, and the client's unique business requirements.

• Must have 8+ years of Manhattan WMS experience, including at least 1-2 years of Manhattan Active implementation experience.
• Develop comprehensive functional requirements and specifications for seamless integration between Manhattan Active WMS and SAP.
• Create detailed documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD), outlining integration processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring system capability alignment.
• Conduct thorough system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and efficiency of WMS integrations.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices and solutions for optimizing WMS functionalities within SAP integration.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous process improvement.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management, focusing on Manhattan WMS configurations, functional testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing, and release management for complex warehouse implementations.
• Extensive knowledge and experience across Manhattan WMS versions.
• Global experience in Manhattan WMS implementations.
• Effective communication with stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable functional specifications.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL queries.
• Understanding of ERP integration.
• Experience with WMS reports and supply chain intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of integrating warehouse management with equipment and systems like MHE (conveyors), WCS.
• Working knowledge of Manhattan Proactive & APIs.
