Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on residential and commercial job sites Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements and plan procedures Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and work quality Ensure health and safety regulations and company policies are followed on site Train or arrange training for new and existing workers on proper construction techniques and safety standards Order materials and supplies as needed and maintain inventory control Prepare and maintain daily work reports and progress documentation Coordinate inspections with city officials and ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations Collaborate with project managers and clients to communicate progress and resolve issues Wages: $34.1/hour for 3035 hours per week Location of Work: Penticton, BC and surrounding areas Language: Ability to communicate in English Contact Information: Apply by email to Please indicate in your subject line: Applying for Construction Supervisor Qualifications: Completion of high school is required Completion of a post-secondary program in construction, civil engineering, or a related field OR 12 years of direct supervisory experience in the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Physically fit and capable of working on-site in varying weather conditions Proficient with reading blueprints and technical drawings Strong organizational and communication skills Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation purposes While we thank all applicants for their interest, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
