Apply new polish to fingernails and toenails. Apply, remove or touch up acrylic, gel nails, extensions, and nail polish. Recommend and create new designs and nail art for clients. Sanitize all nail instruments, equipment and workstations before and after use. Always maintain a clean working environment. Assess clients nail health and offer appropriate treatment to clients Assist clients with questions or concerns about nail treatments Skills Requirements Education: No formal education required, if candidates have already had 6 months on the job train-ing combined with the minimum of 1 year experience, as a Nail Care Technician, mani-curist, or pedicurist OR Completion of high school OR Completion of a beauty school program or college program for manicurist and pedicurist Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience is required (less experience would be considered for candidates who have completed a beauty school program or college program for manicurist and pedicurist) Language: Ability to communicate English is required.
