What We're Looking For

We are seeking an Principle Project Manager who is a highly organized, proactive, and analytical problem-solver. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. They will be a collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Eligibility to Work in Canada: You are a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, or hold a valid work permit.
  • Extensive Project Management Experience : Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of extensive enterprise project management experience. This includes a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, multi-year transformation projects with substantial budgets, typically in excess of $25 million. This level of experience demonstrates the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, manage diverse stakeholders, and oversee intricate project lifecycles from initiation to closure.
  • Methodology Expertise : Possess a deep understanding of various project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, with a proven ability to strategically apply them to complex projects. PMP certification is required, and familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and/or ART (Agile Release Trains) is highly preferred.
  • Great Communication: You're skilled at connecting with everyone from project teams to executives, and your written and verbal communication is clear and engaging. You can effectively convey information and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Stakeholder Management: You have proven experience in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, vendors, and executive-level stakeholders. You can effectively manage stakeholder expectations and navigate conflicting priorities.
  • Adaptability : You thrive in dynamic environments and aren't thrown off by changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Client Focus : You have a customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences, understanding client needs, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Growth Mindset: You're always looking to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, project management methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to the role, including an awareness of how AI can impact business solutions and project delivery.

  • Strong Organization: You possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Tool Proficiency: You're an expert with the Atlassian product suite; including Jira & Confluence

What You'll Do

As a Principle Project Manager at Ateko, a Bell Canada Company, you'll oversee and successfully deliver projects.

This is a high-touch role that includes significant time with both clients and Ateko leadership. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead Projects: Lead and manage the delivery of multiple client projects simultaneously from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered on time and within budget. This includes monitoring project budgets (e.g., hours consumption).
  • Coordinate Teams: Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear and timely exchange of information, status updates, and addressing any issues or concerns. You'll prepare weekly project status reports for client stakeholders and Ateko management.
  • Mitigate Risks: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues to minimize the impact on project outcomes.
  • Manage Scope: Assess and manage project scope changes, including evaluating impacts, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring proper documentation and communication of changes to stakeholders.
  • Drive Quality: Make sure projects meet our (and our clients') high standards, using quality assurance processes throughout.
  • Document Thoroughly: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant project artifacts.
  • Close With Clarity: Conduct project closure activities, including finalizing project documentation, capturing lessons learned, and conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
