Job Title: Marketing Coordinator Salary: $36.65/hour Number of Hours: 30-40 hours/week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable Education and Experience requirements: 1-2 years relevant experience High school education is required Relevant degree or diploma will be an asset Languages: English Job Duties: Conduct market research and analysis of client demographics, pricing structures, lane rates, freight volumes, and overall trends in the trucking and logistics industry. Study competitors' freight offerings, service models, fleet capabilities, and customer engagement strategies to improve existing services and increase profitability. Create and manage targeted marketing campaigns aimed at freight brokers, manufacturers, and supply chain managers across North America. Monitor industry developments, including transportation regulations, fuel price fluctuations, and freight demand, to adapt marketing strategies accordingly. Develop promotional materials such as brochures, service catalogues, rate sheets, and case studies showcasing the companys reliability, safety standards, and on-time performance. Build and maintain the companys presence on digital platforms to reach shippers and logistics partners. Maintain and regularly update the companys website with current services, client success stories, fleet upgrades, certifications, and safety achievements. Manage client relationships and databases through software and provide timely follow-ups on leads, quotes, and service inquiries. Represent the company at transportation and logistics conferences, trade shows, job fairs, and industry networking events to promote brand visibility and recruit business partners. Prepare detailed presentations, customized sales pitches, service proposals, and contractual documents in coordination with senior management. Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, digital performance metrics, and lead conversion rates; prepare monthly reports for management review. Design and implement loyalty and referral programs for long-term clients and owner-operators to boost retention and network growth. Fulfill general administrative tasks and assist with customer service queries related to freight quotes, service areas, and delivery timelines.
