A Corporate Event Sales Representative is responsible for generating corporate leads, selling venues and catering services, and building relationships with corporate clients. They work with businesses and event planners to understand needs and offer customized event solutions to meet those needs. This role often involves a combination of inside sales (phone, email, online) and outside sales (meeting clients in person).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and generate leads within the corporate sector for event and catering opportunities.
  • Seek out and attend networking events, tradeshows, conferences, etc.

Sales:

  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals with clients.
  • Sell venues and catering (and beverage) services, respecting pre-established parameters (such as minimum pricing and overall client spends).

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

  • Stay in tune with their needs and changing preferences.
  • Answer ongoing requests in a timely manner.
  • Invite them to client events.
  • Ensure we are always offering personalized service and create tailored solutions.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist with event planning aspects related to venues and catering, including menu, floor plan, event timeline, setup, logistics, etc.

Performance:

  • Track and analyze sales monthly, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Proven corporate sales experience (strong negotiation and closing skills)
  • Basic understanding of the event planning processes, venues, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in French and English, written and oral
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Driver's licence and vehicle (for visiting clients at our different venues and at their workplace)
