IT Infrastructure and Systems Manager - relocate to work in the Cayman Islands!

On behalf of our retail focused client in the Cayman Islands, we are seeking a motivated IT professional with relevant industry certifications across Microsoft, VMware, Cisco and more, who would have interest in relocating to bring verifiable expertise to the company's IT function in Grand Cayman.

Reporting to the organization's CFO, and acting in a fully hands-on capacity as the primary internal IT resource, the IT Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, security and resiliency of all hardware, software and networks in place at a large retail location and possibly one or more related companies.

The IT Manager plays a key role in systems planning, design, procurement, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, security, documentation and support. This is an entirely hands-on role and does not rely on any lower-level support staff. Regular office hours are 8-5pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday on-call availability is required.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of current, hands-on IT management and systems administration experience with broad, verifiable expertise in Windows Server, M365, VMware, Cisco networking, Security and more.

Please note that relevant industry certifications are required.

At minimum, our client is looking for current certification in the core technologies upon which the businesses rely including:

• Microsoft certifications: Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Exchange, MCSE Core Infrastructure 2016, Windows 10/11
• VMware VCP 2023
• Cisco CCNP
• ITIL
• CISSP or similar preferred - or willingness to pursue (employer supported)

Due to the international move and immigration process involved, our client is looking for a highly mobile candidate who is able to relocate easily/quickly with few complications.
