Hybrid: 3 days/wk

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or a similar position within an analytics team environment.

• Proficiency in SQL, including working with relational databases, query authoring, and strong SQL optimization skills.

• Skills in Python programming, with experience using the PySpark API and the pytest framework for testing.

• Demonstrated experience in solution design and implementation, with the ability to create scalable, efficient, and robust data systems.

• Experience in integrating data from various sources (APIs, databases, files, etc.).

• Familiarity with platforms such as Data Factory, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI, as well as tools and technologies like Databricks, Azure Data Lake, DevOps Repos/Pipelines, and PowerShell.

• Expertise in building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines, architectures, and datasets for machine learning and analytics.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams, demonstrating excellent communication.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Maritime, transportation, logistics or supply chain background
