Job Title IAM Security Authentication Engineer
Work Location Montreal Quebec (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week)
Experience Level 7-15 years
Responsibilities:
• Providing senior-level support for firm authentication and identity management solutions.
Solutions range from industry-standard applications to homegrown tooling.
• Support and maintain Kerberos infrastructure on client Linux plant, which involves both working on the pipeline and product releases in a large-scale infrastructure supporting over 100k servers.
• Debug issues at all levels of the stack- Assist in implementing related long-term stability and observability improvements focused on issue symptoms.
• Participate in an on-call rotation responding to PagerDuty alerts.
• Document and measure every action taken, with the goal of the automation of repetitive manual efforts.
• Create operational tooling (as required) for support team usage.
• Participate on calls with internal users and external clients or vendors when required.
Technical Skills:
An acute understanding of:
n Identity and Access Management products
n General network and enterprise security standards and concepts as they pertain to authentication
• Advanced knowledge of the components of operating system administration on Windows and Linux Red hat platforms
• A deep knowledge of scripting and automation languages such as Python and UNIX Shells.
• Experience working with large enterprise architecture.
Experience:
• 5 to 6 years of experience working around infrastructure or application security.
• ITIL, CISSP, any SRE certifications (optional).
