Title: Python AWS Developer
Work location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Plus Contract
Job Description:
Building high-performance APIs using Python and AWS services.
Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python ) to manage AWS services.
Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
Developing software components in Python that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
Drive aggressive implementation of application requirements for functionality and quality.
Drive infrastructure software standards and guidelines, Performance analysis, benchmarking and detailed design of the system.
Familiarity with client-server architecture and networking tools (e.g. SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, telnet, NETCONF etc.)
Frontend scripting or web development (e.g. Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3 etc.)
Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle
Experience with LAMP and Open-source based technologies.
Service Provider network experience is a major plus
Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. Redis / Cassandra
Familiarity with Web Services, REST & XML-RPC
Experience with version control systems, such as svn / git
