Full Details:
Position Title: Technical Writer
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 07 Months long Contract (with possibilities of extension)

Location: This role is based in GTA / Toronto, ON / Anywhere within Canada ( Remote Role)

Start Date: End Of May 2025

Pay Rate: 40$ - 47$ Incorporated + HST

35$ - 38$ on T4

(Depending on years' of experience and skillset)

Job Description (Must - have Skills):

We are looking for multiple Technical Writer with below skillsets:

Must-have Skills:

• At least 8 - 10+ years of overall relevant experience required
• "Madcap Flare" is a must have requirement. 2 - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Madcap Flare to create, manage, and publish documentation.

Other Must-Haves:

• Create Release Notes, Installation Guides, User Guides, Quick References, Help (HTML) files, and other assigned content.
• Analyze and translate technical and functional designs into user-friendly client material.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation needs.
• Use test environments to research company products and services and obtain screen samples for your documentation.
• Adhere to the Microsoft Style Guide and department writing standards.
• Bachelor's degree required. Degree in English, Technical Communications, Professional Writing, or Journalism preferred.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Madcap Flare to create, manage, and publish documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, SnagIT, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience creating technical documentation in an Agile environment.
• Proficient at writing content in U.S. English.

Great-to-Haves:

• Experience writing user interface text and application screen content.
• Related Banking Industry experience in platforms, Banking applications, payments, or online financial solutions.
