We are looking for a seasoned night shift maintenance technician who will work on preventive maintenance while leading and directing other junior technicians.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Resolve motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems.
  • Must have excellent mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and issues.
  • Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
  • Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
  • Ensure high level technical support to lower-level technicians.
  • Show expertise in working with team and independently
  • Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
  • Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment
  • Ability to Weld and use a cutting torch as necessary
  • Handle repairs and complete work order in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting, including such areas as pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment and other related systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
  • Adhere to company Health and Safety Protocols
  • Please Note that this position is a Night Shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-7am, however at the beginning few weeks you will be on day shift until training is completed.

    Requirement

    • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
    • Must be a self-starter, work well with all levels, and be well organized.
    • Must be able to operate man lifts and fork trucks.
    • Good physical condition- must be able to lift 50lbs
    • Must have 8000 hours and a certificate preferred
    • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
    • Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
    • Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler operations
    • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
