Position Overview:
Maverin is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to help propel its private sector growth strategy. This role requires a proven sales leader who can identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities across key industries including finance, healthcare, logistics, and professional services. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, with flexibility to work from home or the office and meet clients in person as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting private sector clients in Ontario and across Canada.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads using a consultative and value-based selling approach.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, VPs, Directors).
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs in areas such as API development, digital transformation, and IT consulting.
- Lead the proposal, contract negotiation, and closing processes.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Represent Maverin at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in the technology or professional services sector.
- Proven ability to close complex deals in mid-market and enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of technology services including software development, APIs, cloud solutions, and project management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and results-driven attitude.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel for client meetings.
Preferred:
- Experience selling into financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries.
- Existing relationships or network within the Toronto private sector landscape.
- CRM proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
