A well-established consulting firm is growing its Transportation Team and seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead key infrastructure projects in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.

Join a team of 40+ professionals working on innovative urban and rural transportation initiatives.

What You'll Do

You'll manage transportation construction projects from start to finish-ensuring everything runs on time, on budget, and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities
  • Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Prepare tender documents, specs, and contract administration
  • Oversee site activities and compliance with contract requirements
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Support inspections, prepare deficiency reports, and handle certifications (CCC/FAC)
  • Your Background

    • Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma or related education
    • 7-10 years of transportation construction field experience
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to rural Alberta
    • Proven experience with writing and preparing construction specifications

    Nice-to-Haves

    • Background as a Contract Inspector, Administrator, Project Coordinator, or PM
    • Experience with topographic survey coordination, grading layout, and underground utilities (storm, sanitary, water)
