Position Overview:
We are seeking an empathetic, innovative, and highly skilled Teacher to join our growing team. Ideal candidates are passionate about creating inclusive learning environments, committed to evidence-based practices, and excited to contribute to a collaborative educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, multisensory instruction across core subjects (Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies)
- Design and implement individualized learning plans based on student strengths and needs
- Utilize specialized strategies such as Orton-Gillingham, executive function coaching, and assistive technology tools
- Create a classroom environment that nurtures independence, resilience, and a love of learning
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, specialists, and families
- Participate in ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in neurodiversity and differentiated instruction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's preferred)
- Certification in Special Education, Literacy, or related fields a strong plus
- Experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning differences
- Training in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or other structured literacy approaches preferred
- Strong skills in fostering social-emotional learning and executive functioning strategies
- A growth mindset and a passion for student-centered teaching
