Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, our Sales Representatives are instrumental in driving sales and cultivating relationships with custom home builders, architects, designers, construction management firms, commercial developers, regional distributors, and end users. Operating across both residential and commercial markets, they align customer and project needs with Doorland's premium door and trim solutions, delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship.
This role is ideal for a driven individual eager to excel in a fast-paced sales environment, building relationships with key industry players and end users while contributing to Doorland's growth and success across both residential and commercial markets. We prefer candidates applying who have previous experience/exposure within a similar industry, or related industry.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Driving sales by building strong relationships with custom home builders, architects, designers, construction management firms, commercial developers, regional distributors, and end users in both residential and commercial markets.
- Proactively identifying and establishing partnerships with regional distributors to expand Doorland's market reach and presence.
- Leveraging CRM tools to manage customer relationships, track leads, and maintain accurate sales pipelines.
- Developing and managing sales forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives and production schedules.
- Supporting lead generation activities in alignment with the company's internal sales strategy.
- Meeting regularly with customers and end users, visiting project sites, and ensuring accurate measurements are captured for production.
- Assisting customers and end users in selecting the right products for their projects and addressing their unique needs.
- Preparing accurate quotes and estimates with internal support, ensuring alignment with production timelines.
- Facilitating customer sign-off on quotes and overseeing deposit collection to secure projects.
- Managing seamless transitions from quotes to orders, addressing any missing details or questions promptly.
- Providing timely updates to enhance internal reporting processes and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Setting and exceeding sales targets through strategic planning and proactive customer engagement.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and bring Doorland's premium craftsmanship to life in every project.
Experience and Skills Desired:
- Proficiency in CRM systems to manage pipelines, generate reports, and track sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage accurate sales forecasts and align them with business goals.
- Proven success in setting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in a sales role, ideally in a manufacturing environment or related fields such as windows, flooring, or lighting

- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, with experience in preparing summaries and status reporting.
