Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Engineer to join our Mississauga manufacturing client's growing team. You will report to the VP Manufacturing The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our clients manufacturing processes, ensuring operational efficiency, improving Health & Safety, and all engineering, utilities and contract services.

Duties

• Develop the plant expense budgets to support manufacturing objectives and sustain customer service levels.

Control the capital & expense budgets to ensure all financial and business objectives are met.

• Manage/Support Health & Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements to ensure plant compliance.

• Recommend and implement process improvements.

• Support maintenance programs and improve maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• University Engineering degree and P. Eng preferred.

• 7+ years experience in an engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment.

• Mechanical & Electrical Controls competency preferred.
