• Assist dentists during various dental procedures ensuring patient comfort and efficiency.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required during patient appointments.
• Manage patient records accurately, updating charts and documenting treatment details.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Schedule appointments and assist in managing the flow of patients within the clinic.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and work areas.

Requirements

• Certified Dental Assistant credential from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
• Ability to operate dental equipment and technology, including digital X-ray systems.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
