We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our growing team and help strengthen the systems, processes, and documentation that support Blackline Safety's quality and environmental programs. In this role, you will support the ongoing development of our Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) as we progress toward a more integrated, digitally enabled management system. You will help build the foundation for future ISO accreditations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, while contributing to audits, process improvement, document control, and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will be comfortable drafting visual process models and translating them into clear, structured internal documentation. The Blackline Safety System incorporates wearable personal safety devices, vehicle-mounted equipment, satellite and cellular communication channels, and an advanced web portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage QMS, EMS, and technical documentation within a metadata-driven document control system, ensuring documents and records are accurate, current, accessible, and retained appropriately.
- Create, update, and review QMS, EMS, and related process documentation in collaboration with process owners and stakeholders.
- Support the planning, coordination, and follow-up of internal and external audits for the QMS and EMS.
- Coordinate daily calibration activities, including external vendor shipments, logistics, and instrument tracking.
- Support teams across Blackline Safety by applying a strong understanding of processes, procedures, and continuous improvement.
About You
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Experience creating process documentation, including the ability to interpret visual process maps, such as BPMN 2.0, and translate them into structured internal documents.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Practical experience or formal training in internal auditing; familiarity with ISO 19011 methodology is considered a strong asset.
- Experience working with external auditors
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong digital fluency, including experience with metadata-driven SharePoint document libraries and custom internal workflows such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
- You are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and disciplined in your approach to problem-solving.
- You build positive working relationships and can help resolve challenges through collaborative, practical solutions.
- You can adapt to quickly changing priorities in a high-growth environment.
- You have high standards and motivate others to strive to meet them.
- You are hands-on, adaptable, and ready to contribute across operations with a can-do attitude and collaborative spirit.
- You are familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 19011 standards, including their application to management systems and internal auditing.
